Note that this is the last OPM release to fully support Ubuntu 18.04\u00a0 LTS, the next release will instead support 22.04 LTS. The Ubuntu packages may be downloaded from the OPM Project\u2019s Personal Package Archive (ppa:opm\/ppa).\u00a0 If you have not already included this in your package sources, you can do so with the commands<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt-add-repository ppa:opm\/ppa\r\nsudo apt-get update\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>Then you can install the simulator and its prerequisites using the command<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt install libopm-simulators-bin\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>You can install python bindings for opm via pip (<a href=\"https:\/\/pypi.org\/project\/opm\/\">https:\/\/pypi.org\/project\/opm\/<\/a>) using<\/p>\n<pre>pip install opm\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>I would also like to use the opportunity to thank all the contributors for their effort in improving the simulator.<\/p>\n<p>Best Regards,<br \/>\nAtgeirr Fl\u00f8 Rasmussen, SINTEF<br \/>\nRelease manager for 2021.10<\/p>\n<h1>Release notes for 2021.10<\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The release has both new features and various improvements and bug fixes.
