Indeed, things have moved. It is all C++ these days, a recipe found here:

Please note the prequesites that you need installed before starting to compile. If you are confined to windows, with no access to a linux machine, there is still hope. We do support setting up a virtual machine with everything installed. You will find directions on that here:
