We hope to have the release ready by the end of the month. The release will be coordinated by me and Tor Harald Sandve. Atgeirr From Atgeirr.Rasmussen at sintef.no Thu Oct 27 14:36:10 2016 From: Atgeirr.Rasmussen at sintef.no (Atgeirr Rasmussen) Date: Thu, 27 Oct 2016 14:36:10 +0000 Subject: [Opm] OPM release 2016.10 release candidate Message-ID: Dear OPM community, A release candidate is ready for testing. There are binary packages available for 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 16.04 and RHEL 6. For those building from source, the relevant branch is called release/2016.10 in each repository. There is a single change to the module structure since the last release, namely that the build order of opm-output and opm-core has been switched (opm-core now requires opm-output). For Ubuntu, note that the binary packages are not in the usual (ppa:opm/ppa) archive but in ppa:opm/testing. To install (for example) Flow from opm-simulators, you should do the following: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:opm/testing sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade sudo apt-get install libopm-simulators-bin There is a known issue with two-phase simulations in Flow that affects the currently available packages. The issue has been addressed, and the fix will be part of the final release. Message-ID: <580732A5.9040106@iws.uni-stuttgart.de> Dear Opm, since Opm interfaces changed without deprecation period, I must have different code paths to support 2016.04 and 2016.10 at the same time. Is there a way to do this? I don't see any Opm version information written into config.h.
