[Opm] Issues with two phase upscaling

The upscale_relperm binary is as the wiki states only for upscaling assuming capillary equilibrium. In particular, cell saturations needs to be calculated at each capillary pressure. For that to be unambiguous, you need a strictly monotonic capillary pressure curve as input.

You will find relative permeability upscaling in the viscuous limit in the binary upscale_relpermvisc. I see the wiki-page is empty, but at least the binary will output a usage text. In addition, there is a man page documenting usage if you install the debian packages.

I am trying to upscale the single phase OPM hummocky model to two phase flow using rock curves ignoring capillary pressure (ie Pc=0).  I added some PVT and initialization data to the ECLIPSE file then typed "upscale_relperm eclipse_file relperm_file" but got this error message:
"Error: J function 1 in rock file isotropic_rock.txt was not invertible"

I am assuming that I need "viscous limit" upscaling but the OPM Wiki page for this option is empty so am not sure what to do next.
