[Opm] Eclipse units for OPM upscaling

Hello everyone!

Could someone let me know how OPM (especially the upscaling module)
checks the units of the data from the input eclipse gridfile? Does it
take the unit keyword used in the gridfile (METRIC, FIELD, LAB, etc.)
into account? If so, does the use of a certain unit keyword impact the
units of other quantities like pressure drop or surface tension?

I was going over some of the gridfiles in
https://github.com/OPM/opm-upscaling/tree/master/tests/input_data/grids
 and although the comments mention different length units, no keyword
is used to specify them (but I may be missing something there :) ), so
I am a bit confused.
