[Opm] OPM 2020.10 Release Schedule

All,

We are nearing the next release of OPM, designation 2020.10.  I am the release manager for this release.  My goal is to finish this release in the month of October, tentatively on Thursday the 29th of October.  To this end, I am setting the following timeline.


  *   Feature Freeze: Thursday 15th October 6pm CEST.  I will create the release branches in each repository at this point and any new features which is merged into the 'master' branch after this point will not be a part of the release.
  *   First release candidate early in the week of Monday 19th October.  At this point I will post a message to the mailing list to encourage community testing
  *   Testing and bugfixing on the release branches  during the week from Monday 19th October through Friday 23rd of October.
  *   Second release candidate early in the week of Monday the 26th of October.
  *   Additional testing and bugfixing if needed
  *   Final release Thursday 29th of October

To the developers: Please prepare any in-progress work that is scheduled for the 2020.10 release to be in a mergeable state by the feature freeze deadline.
